Resident Evil 5.. a shooter isn't a shooter when its on a console

I have my mouse and WASD controls so ingrained into my motor reflexes from computer games that my first foray into a console shooter is becoming a nightmare. I like the graphics and overall vibe the game's giving off but trying to shoot straight and accurately with a console controller is just about impossible for me.

Not only that but the camera is a third person over the shoulder type of viewing angle which means a lot of my screen is filled up with the main character and his muscle shirt. If someone can tell me how to make the camera be first person I will let you write a review of whatever game you want and I'll post it here. Its a small reward but its all I got right now.
