Star Trek Online. I Really Shouldn't

This is the first clip from the game that has actually gotten me interested in this game. The only problem is that after quitting EQ2 and being off that crack for six months now I'd rather not relapse.  But, well, look at that! Space battles, ships go kabloowie!  It honestly looks like StarFleet Command series which, at least in the first two games, was fantastic fun.

PS3s Used to Catch Scum

The government is buying up as many old-style PS3s that they can in order to use them to crack the encryption on pedophiles computers.  Apparently the new slim line PS3s are locked down so you can't add Linux or do any other neat things that modders love.  I find this interesting and am tempted to see if the FBI will buy my PS3 for what I paid. Then I could buy a new slim line one and make a small profit in the process.

Calling any other blogger who uses this blogger.com site

If any other blogger can help me here I'd appreciate it. The width of this template I use isn't wide enough. I think it is limted to 660 pixels and I want it wider, like near 800.  Where in the heck do I change this is the Edit HTML option?

If that's not possible then can I setup a banner ad on the left hand side. Might as well fill up this dead space.

Rage over Rage.

So the big thing that interested me this week was some news from The Carmack that as it stands right now they're not really looking into making a dedicated server component for their upcoming shooting/racer Rage. In fact The Carmack stated that he was rather glad that Modern Warfare announced it first so they could gauge how people would react.
So what we'll see then is a peer to peer hosting which means less reliable connections and smaller games. In other words, a console first shooter. No surprise though, which means just one more reason to look forward to the re-release of Serious Sam.
