I had FiOS installed at my place.  It was blowing through files so fast that I just started downloading game demos, not to play them but to feel the speed of this damn connection. Absolutely amazing!

X-Fire was bought by Viacom. I don't know what this means but as long as X-fire stays free and I can play games with my buddies, I don't really care if there's a few more ads or whatever.  It's easy to ignore them.

In crappy news today, there's an expansion out for Black & White 2.  I hope they sell so poorly that they get buried in the same hole as ET for the Atari 2600.

City of Villians has a 14 day free trial happening right now so I installed it after the two hour download. Yikes.  Regardless, look for "Naughty Intern" on Pinnacle server.

That's it dammit there is no God.  I can think that Black & White and it's sequel were bad and maybe just punishment against us mortals.  But putting out an expansion suggests that God is cruel.

The question put forth by this article is whether or not the newest ad for Hitman is sexy or sexist. Well, let's see here.  Pretty lady, great legs with the only down side being she's dead. But, then again, most models are dead on the inside anyway.  Conclusion: It's all good.

Some dumb debate is occurring on this site regarding female gamers.  If a girl can frag, then fine.  The fact that she's pretty never hurts.  Sometimes getting beat by a girl isn't bad if ya know what I mean and I think you do.

Create a game in record time with no budget?  I think someone's trying to make Iron Storm 2!

After getting a bit bored with knocking off stores in Godfather I started googling around and found some abandonware.  True, Underdogs isn't around for some reason now, but I still was able to find Leisure Suit Larry, and not the upgraded graphics one.  Holy crap, if you're near my age, what the hell were we thinking to play these eye bleeding graphics games for hours on end.

Microsoft bought Lionhead. Lionhead, as we all know, made Black & White and the sequel, Black & White 2.  Perhaps Microsoft with euthanasia Lionhead for daring to think of such crap ass games and burn Peter Molyneaux (or however it's spelled) on the cross.  In fact, they should put him on CAT scanner and ask him questions about Black & White. Any part of the brain that shows activity during that questioning should immediately be pulled from his skull cavity, burned, and launched into space so mankind will never see them again.  Then, have him get working on another Syndicate.

The Playstation 3 rumor mill continues with some bigwig saying the Euro will cost about $600 - $700 bucks!  Buck up kids though, you'll be able to play BluRay discs.  As if anyone cares about that.  Even a decent PC costs that much and you can do a lot more like, I dunno, make crappy websites like this pretty easily (and hurriedly). 

Games protected by the First Amendment, again.  Would the family value nuts now realize they can't win and should focus on, I dunno, encouraging families to police their own kids?! Hell, even the National Review -- arguably one of the most conservative magazines out there -- says games are policed well with the ESRB ratings.

Now this is what I like to see. Bravo Ritual for putting out a dedicated server component for your upcoming game.

Well, it's been quite a few days since I've posted.  A guy gets caught up in real life and playing Godfather and you lose track of things. 

Fun game "cheat" on Godfather.  Never close the game after taking over a few store fronts and you start racking up money quick as the virtual days roll by for your character. 

Why do only shitty motherboard companies make combination PCI-Express and AGP motherboards?  I wish Giga-byte or ASUS would make a few. 

Cockroaches are gross enough but now they have been shown to make group decisions. 

Isn't it great when Microsoft security experts say their systems are so vulnerable to malware that the best option for IT admins is to just rebuild the PCs?  Good call guys, maybe just tell us next that blue screens are good for letting your monitor rest. 

Danseglio, who delivered two separate presentations at the conference—one on threats and countermeasures to defend against malware infestations in Windows, and the other on the frightening world on Windows rootkits—said anti-virus software is getting better at detecting and removing the latest threats, but for some sophisticated forms of malware, he conceded that the cleanup process is "just way too hard."

Awww, is your job too hard Microsoft?  Do you want a blanket and a cookie, too? What's next, asking for a government bailout like the airlines or Chrysler?
