I became so excited about Quakecon being in Dallas that I forgot to read the rest of their announcement. The most important part is that Quake Wars will be playable at Quakecon! Someone help me figure out how to sneak booze into the convention cause I'm going to need to get my drink on!
From EA and Creative Assembly, Total War: Eras. When asked for comment an EA rep said. "Well, we wanted more money, so we bundled up everything in one big box and are putting it out there. There's also some crystal meth laced in rice krispy cookies so get to eating!"
Net neutrality is gone. Eat my ass Congress. Next year I'm voting against every single incumbent as these assclowns haven't done anything good and decent in a long time.

Your trepid news guy here. Unfortunately, the lack of what I deem interesting gaming news continues and I don't see anything new to get excited about just yet at least until Quake Wars. How bad has this become recently? I re-upped my subscription on Everquest 2 and leveled my 60 Inquisitor in about two days.
Battlefield 2 remains my favorite game but even I need a break from that chaos and confusion once in a while. I don't think I get tired of the game mechanics or dynamics but the constant pop of guns and thud of explosions wears thin after a few weeks of heavy playing.
There exists another shooter coming soon called Prey, however it's existence is similar to my awareness of something like Mongolia. I know it is there but just because it exists doesn't mean I should get excited about it or start worshipping the ghost of Genghis Khan.

Dear Internet,
You suck as you let MC Hammer have a blog. I though you were better than this Internet but no, you let this happen.

Rumors were running that Quakecon might be cancelled. Fortunately, that's not the case but I bet it won't be in Dallas which..well it sucks.

I've written Splash Damage and people I know that went to E3 and no one will respond to me about some questions about Quake Wars. Drat.
Apparently, the government has asked ISPs to log web activity of it's users for up to two years. Nothing to see here Federales! Unless you like games and boobs I suppose or knowing that my girl asked me to pick up some tickets for Friday night. Wow I must be a huge threat.
